$XRP has two different stories right now: the network and the chart.
XRPL's official website highlights more than 8 million funded accounts and over $1 trillion in value moved. That's a serious infrastructure story, but network adoption alone doesn't guarantee immediate buying pressure in XRP.
Here's the detail many traders overlook: XRPL's standard transaction fee is just 10 drops, and that fee is burned rather than paid to validators. So growing network activity and rising XRP demand are not automatically the same thing.
Meanwhile, XRP has fallen from around $1.50 on October 6 to roughly $1.29, with a recent low near $1.27.
That keeps the short-term structure under pressure, but selling directly into nearby support isn't the setup I want to chase.
My bias is WAIT. I'd watch for a failed recovery into the $1.31–$1.35 area before considering a conditional short, with $1.27 as the first downside test.
A sustained reclaim above $1.35 would make me reassess.
The technology can build a long-term case. The chart still has to confirm the trade.
