Putting the AI employee on your own Mac: download, approve, bind
First published in our own WeChat account. Its two questions are one: when a task reads public pages, which machine sends those requests, and whether a 2 a.m. job has to wait on platform capacity.
The local build puts an execution environment on your Mac, bound to your PMTSoul account. The workspace then shows a local-run badge with device name and online state, and every task on that account, scheduled ones included, goes to that Mac. Sleep or a dropped connection means it queues; nothing falls back to the cloud. The model still runs through the platform, billed as usual.
Three checks: Apple silicon, macOS 14.0 or newer, macOS only. Unsigned build, so first launch needs approval in Privacy & Security; the terminal install skips that and issues a 15-minute code.
Not financial advice โ a setup note, not a market view.
