🇺🇸 US INFLATION, PMI & TREASURY YIELDS: WHAT’S NEXT FOR CRYPTO? 📊

Last week’s US inflation data has already set the macroeconomic backdrop for the market. According to MarketWatch’s calendar, September CPI came in at 3.7% YoY versus 3.6% expected, while PPI reached 6.3% against a 5.5% forecast.

If investors interpret these figures as a sign that inflation remains persistent, stronger Flash PMI data or lower jobless claims could reinforce expectations that interest rates will stay higher for longer. Rising Treasury yields and a stronger US dollar could then put additional pressure on risk assets, including $BTC and $ETH .

On the other hand, softer-than-expected PMI readings or weaker labor market data could push yields and the dollar lower, potentially creating a more supportive environment for crypto. However, if the economic data is too weak, recession fears could outweigh rate-cut optimism and trigger another wave of risk aversion.

🇨🇳 What about China’s LPR?

A reduction in China’s Loan Prime Rate (LPR) could signal additional policy support and improve overall risk sentiment. However, its impact on crypto would likely be indirect and is far from guaranteed.

📌 My outlook for the week:
Rather than betting on a specific direction, I’ll be watching three key factors:

• Flash PMI data and how it compares with expectations
• US Treasury yield movements
• The dollar’s reaction to incoming economic data

The key isn’t just the data itself—it’s how the market reacts to it. Stay alert, manage risk carefully, and avoid making decisions based on headlines alone.
