$7.15 million + 6 cold wallets: HEX founder arrested in Turkey
The endgame for crypto schemers has never been financial freedom—it’s physical freedom.
Turkey’s justice minister personally confirmed it: Richard Heart, founder of HEX and PulseChain, was arrested in Istanbul. Authorities seized $7.15 million in cash, 6 cold wallets, 28 watches, 97 pieces of jewelry, and several handguns and rifles. His wife and three bodyguards were also detained—this isn’t a founder; it’s a real-life mob movie.
His track record is pretty surreal, too: In 2023, the SEC accused him of raising over $1 billion without registering and misappropriating $12 million to buy luxury cars, expensive watches, and huge diamonds. In February 2025, a judge dismissed the case for “lack of jurisdiction,” and he thought he was in the clear. But a red notice from Finland (over tax fraud and assault charges) landed him in trouble in Turkey.
After his arrest, $HEX fell 14% in 24 hours. From its 2021 peak of $0.44, it’s now down more than 99%. With its founder behind bars, the token’s price can only hope the market saves it—at least people holding $BTC can still sleep at night.
Honestly, the “long-termism” of a coin like this just means waiting to see how long its founder’s sentence will be.
