Let’s talk about transaction finality:
Bitcoin offers only probabilistic finality: the more blocks are added after a transaction, the less likely it is to be reversed—but in theory, that probability never reaches zero.
Probabilistic finality is like a stack of papers that gets taller over time: the more papers piled on top, the harder it is to pull out the bottom sheet. Deterministic finality is more like a signed contract—you can’t back out once it’s signed.
