THE 1% RULE.

In trading, the Real Game isn’t getting rich.

It’s surviving long enough to become wealthy.

Let me ask you something.

How long have you been in this market?

1 year? 2 years? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years?

Now look back.

How many traders who started with you are still showing up today?

Very few. Right?

The problem is that 99% of people enter this market with one dream:

Get rich quickly. Preferably by tomorrow.

But that’s not how this game works.

I’ve seen people make life-changing money in one cycle and lose everything in the next.

Survival should always be your first priority.

Beating the major market benchmarks comes second.

And eventually, if you stay consistent, compounding starts doing its job.

That’s why I always talk about the 1% RULE.

Always use a position-size calculator before entering a trade.

Never risk more than 1% of your trading capital on a single setup.

Always calculate exactly how much you’re willing to lose if your stop-loss gets hit.

No matter how strong your conviction is, never let one trade put your entire portfolio at risk.

Remember, 1% risk doesn’t mean putting only 1% of your capital into a trade.

It means limiting your potential loss to 1%.

You don’t need to catch every pump.

You don’t need to trade every breakout.

And you definitely don’t need to become rich overnight.

You need to stay in the game long enough for your edge and compounding to work.

The market will keep giving opportunities. Your job is to make sure you still have capital when they arrive.

Trust your process.

Respect your risk.

Move on to the next setup.

You either understand this now, or the market will teach you the expensive way.

Period. 🤝
