90% lose money in crypto by ignoring these 2 rules (and it’s not the market’s fault) 📉🧠

The market doesn’t take your money from you: you hand it over willingly when you trade without a system.

Every cycle, we see the same story: traders who jump in out of FOMO at the peak of a green candle and end up panic-selling at the bottom of a red one. If you want to stop being exit liquidity for the whales, commit these three fundamental principles to memory:

1. The 1–2% rule: Protecting your capital comes first

A beginner’s biggest mistake isn’t getting the direction wrong; it’s risking 20%, 30%, or even 10% of their total account on a single trade.

The standard: Never risk more than 1% to 2% of your total portfolio on a single position.

If you have a $1,000 USD account, your Stop Loss should cut your losses if they reach between $10 and $20 USD.

This lets you be wrong 10 times in a row and still stay completely in the game. In crypto, survival is half the battle.

2. Stop buying giant green candles

When an altcoin rises +40% in 4 hours and the entire Binance Square feed is euphoric, you’re already too late.

Institutional money buys during the boredom and quiet accumulation—not during the euphoria.

Entering during a euphoric rally means buying at the highest possible price with the worst risk/reward ratio. Wait for a pullback to key support zones, or look for projects with solid fundamentals that haven’t taken off yet.
