SoftBank is considering acquiring Allied Universal, the largest security services company in the U.S., at a potential equity valuation of around $18 billion. The total deal value could approach $30 billion, including related debt.

Allied Universal currently has around $12 billion in outstanding publicly traded loans and bonds. Discussions are still at an early stage; the purchase price and other terms have not been finalized.

Masayoshi Son is exploring the use of AI robots across various industries. SoftBank hopes robots could take on some of Allied Universal’s security duties in the future, although deploying humanoid robots for this work may take more time.
