AI debt cracks; crypto takes the first hit

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell for an eighth straight session, its longest losing streak since 2008. CoreWeave bond yields briefly topped 15%, its stock plunged 12% in a single day, the VIX broke above 22 intraday, and Brent crude settled above $110. The Nasdaq fell 2.15% in a day, bringing its weekly loss to 4.48%.

The AI narrative in US stocks has run into the wall of financing costs. BTC has moved back in sync with the Nasdaq on the daily chart this week. Its rebound into the previous resistance zone was mostly knocked back. When trading volume fails to follow through, that’s a window to trim positions. If the dense liquidation zone below gets swept, a sharp wick down could come quickly. AI-computing tokens have higher beta, so their losses are amplified. First, watch whether they can hold the previous high-volume cost-basis zone; a break below it could trigger a rush for the exits.

With this rebound in AI-themed coins, are you selling into the rally or waiting to buy after Bitcoin pulls back?
