🫠Nillion (NIL) is shutting down its L2 network and moving to Ethereum

The Nillion team announced that it will shut down its own L2 in the coming weeks, as the project now operates on the Ethereum mainnet. NIL holders need to transfer their tokens from L2 to Ethereum L1 before the shutdown (no exact date has been announced).

Nillion emphasized that this is scheduled technical maintenance, not the closure of the project.

Nillion is a decentralized network for processing data without revealing it: computations are performed on encrypted information, which does not need to be decrypted.

The project raised $45 million from HashKey, Arthur Hayes, Hack VC, GSR, and others.
