The Shanghai summit can’t justify SOL’s valuation

Solana Foundation President Lily Liu confirmed that the first Capital Markets Summit wrapped up in Shanghai on Thursday, drawing hundreds of asset allocators and builders. The comparison she offered was that the market capitalization of mainland Chinese listed companies is only one-sixth that of US companies with comparable earnings, while more than 50,000 small and medium-sized enterprises are waiting to IPO. Around the same time, Shanghai Yaokun Qiusuo Digital Technology was established in August with registered capital of 10 million yuan. Shanghai Solana Enterprise Management holds a 45% stake, but there’s no link in the ownership structure connecting it to the Solana Foundation.

The narrative is loud, but the money hasn’t arrived. This move looks more like a sentiment-driven spike on the conference news. On-chain stablecoin supply growth and DEX trading volumes haven’t expanded in tandem, and the odds favor major players distributing above 200 rather than pushing prices higher. 195 is the first support level on this pullback; a break below it would put 185 in view. The 215–220 range is a dense supply zone. Without real spot-market buying, any move above it would be a false breakout.

As long as it holds its range and the exchange rate of doesn’t collapse, SOL’s pullback is just a shakeout, not a reversal. Are you waiting to go long at 195, or chasing the positive conference news now?
