SOL Shanghai Summit Focuses on Capital Matchmaking
Solana Foundation Chair Lily Liu confirmed that the first Capital Markets Summit was held in Shanghai on Thursday, drawing hundreds of asset allocators and builders. Shanghai Yaokun Qiusuo, established in August, has registered capital of 10 million yuan. Shanghai Solana Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. holds a 45% stake, and Jiang Yiwen, the Foundation’s co-lead for China, serves as chairwoman. The “Solana” in this ownership chain is a company registered as a sole proprietorship owned by a natural person; public records offer no evidence that it belongs to the Solana Foundation.
The summit’s tangible, on-the-ground components are its meetings and consulting services. There has been no additional token buying on-chain and no selling pressure from token unlocks. SOL’s short-term price is being driven by market-maker sentiment, and any rally could easily meet selling around the $200–$205 resistance zone. Spot buyers may step in only if the price pulls back to around $185. If SOL can’t hold key moving averages, its beta could amplify the pullback. Until consecutive net inflows into spot ETFs return, this move can only be described as a rebound.
For those of you holding SOL, what’s your cost basis? Would you dare to trim your position above $200?
