Institutional AI Asset Management Product Is on the Way

Crypto podcast host Andy previewed an AI product for institutional-grade on-chain asset management, set to launch in the coming days. It will have built-in risk strategies and is already being piloted at several funds and asset management firms. No details have been disclosed about the size of the assets, the custodian, or the on-chain address; so far, there’s only been a verbal announcement.

Announcements like this tend to fuel expectations first. TAO, in the AI sector, could move early during this window. LINK could also benefit as a data provider for risk strategy pricing feeds and liquidation triggers. But without on-chain transfers, an increase in TVL, or a change in market-making depth, any gains are driven entirely by sentiment premiums, and a pullback after a spike is quite possible. For ETH, watch net inflows to institutional custody addresses. Until mainnet gas usage and staking see an uptick, its price will still be driven by BTC’s market-making rhythm. The dense concentration of holdings below the $4,000 mark is the cost basis for this wave of bulls; only a break below it would signal a genuine weakening.

Andy correctly called the SEC’s crypto exemption a week in advance last time, so the market is willing to give him another chance to move prices. For those holding TAO, what’s your cost basis, and are you still willing to add before the news is officially announced?
