Let’s talk about on-chain transfers.
Once an on-chain transfer is included in a block and receives enough confirmations, no institution can unilaterally reverse it. Wallet developers and nodes can’t do anything about it either.
One thing many people overlook: the fact that transfers can’t be reversed is part of decentralized design. There’s no central authority that can alter the ledger, so no one can reverse a transaction for you.
Before withdrawing, make sure the recipient can receive funds on the network you’ve selected. If you choose the wrong network, your funds may be very difficult to recover.
