The funniest news on the internet today, hands down 😂

Hong Kong Secretary for Security Chris Tang (the city’s top anti-scam official) got a scam call. The caller claimed to be from the Security Bureau, accused the secretary of violating mainland Chinese law, and told him to go to the 10th floor of Government Headquarters immediately to assist with an investigation.

The secretary’s response was priceless. He shot back: “Which division of the Security Bureau are you from? I’m on the 10th floor—come find me.”

Guess what happened next? The scammer hung up immediately. ‌

Seriously, guys, is the competition in your line of work that fierce now? Could you at least check who your target is before doing a background check?
Calling the head of the anti-scam unit to turn yourself in—and telling him to come find you on the 10th floor—is like trying to sell fake police uniforms at a police station, hawk counterfeit banknotes at a bank, or sell fake CAs on Binance Square!

These days, scammers aren’t just stupid—they’re practically delivering themselves to your doorstep.

Learned your lesson? Next time someone calls pretending to be Binance support, you can say: “I’m CZ. Come find me.”
