🚨 BITCOIN: US$228 MILLION IN ETF OUTFLOWS!
Bitcoin ended another week facing pressure in the institutional market.
US ETF figures show:
13/10: +US$175.7 million
14/10: -US$261.4 million
15/10: +US$5.1 million
16/10: -US$82.4 million
For the week as a whole, the balance was negative by approximately US$228.4 million.
But I want to highlight something I consider more important than the number.
ETF outflows don't necessarily mean Bitcoin has lost its fundamentals.
They mean that, during this period, redemptions from these funds exceeded net investments.
The market is facing a challenging combination: high interest rates, inflation concerns, and reduced exposure to risk assets.
My view is that we need to separate three things: price, capital flows, and fundamentals.
A price recovery accompanied by weak demand warrants caution. On the other hand, a few negative trading sessions aren't enough to declare the start of a prolonged downtrend.
When accumulating for the long term, discipline doesn't mean simply buying more because the price has fallen.
It means sticking to the plan, assessing risk, and preserving resources for different scenarios.
The question isn't just whether Bitcoin is cheap. It's how much risk the market is demanding to maintain this exposure.
