TSMC’s Q3 net profit exceeded expectations, reaching a record high. The recovery in the wafer foundry sector directly boosted demand for memory chips, but SKHYNIX failed to follow suit. My view is that its short-term weakness is unlikely to change, so don’t rush to buy the dip. The current price is 922.7, down 3.4% over 24 hours. It pulled back from a high of 957.5 to 912.5; on the 4-hour chart, it is 33.21% below the high and just 0.57% above the low, making the downward structure clear. The funding rate has fallen to zero, indicating that bullish sentiment has cooled. Open interest remains at 79,000, with no sign of panic-driven exits, while the top-10 order book buy/sell ratio of 1.24 shows buyers stepping in at lower levels—a sign of resistance within a weak trend. Stay disciplined and trade only on confirmation: if a rebound stalls at 934.6, consider a small short position, with a stop-loss at 945.2 and a target of 903.8. If the price retests 913.4 and finds support, consider a short-term long position, with a stop-loss at 904.7 and a target of 931.5. Keep each position to no more than 10% of your capital, and don’t hold on if support breaks.
