Institutional funds continue to flow out. Can BTC find support? The news backdrop is bearish and weighing on risk appetite. BTC is currently at 81561.8. My view is that the short-term weakness remains, but buying support below is holding reasonably well. For now, I expect choppy, slightly bearish trading rather than a one-way crash.
The four-hour and one-hour trends are both moving lower. The four-hour trend has fallen 5.69% from its high. 80770.7 is today's key support, while 82614.4 is resistance above. The bid-to-ask ratio across the top 10 order-book levels is 1.77, indicating stronger bid-side orders. However, the 0.01% funding rate shows that longs are still paying to hold positions, so sentiment has not yet been fully flushed out.
Strategy: If BTC rebounds to 81930, consider a small short position with a stop-loss at 82560 and a target of 80785. If it pulls back to 80820 and holds, consider a short-term long with a stop-loss at 80240 and a target of 81860. Keep each position below 5% of total capital, and exit to the sidelines if the price falls below 80770.7.
