OPINION: Over the past few days, I’ve read and seen positive and negative comments about this new option for the Venezuelan market.
What surprises me most is seeing users speak badly about P2P, even declaring the end of the P2P system because a new option now exists. But in my almost 5 years as a trader, I’ve seen so many users say:
🗣️ You didn’t round the decimals; you paid me less. (They weren’t rounding correctly.)
🗣️ You’re not responding to the chat. What bad service. (They’re trying to start a conversation with someone.)
🗣️ You use automation; you’re a robot. I don’t like you doing that—I want a real human.
🗣️ Cancel the order. I made a mistake and the price doesn’t work for me; I didn’t read it.
All of this is more common than it seems, and it’s something you won’t find or be able to do with this new option. I can only imagine those who argue over decimals (which isn’t appropriate) now being happy to pay 2.2% to 3% more than with the P2P option, and those who made a mistake and didn’t see the price asking to cancel the order.
Even though it’s a faster option and, in some cases, easier to use, I don’t think this will put an end to P2P because of the price difference, and I think it will serve a very specific purpose for users.
⁉️Do you really think this will put an end to Binance’s P2P system? Explain your answer.
