Bloomberg analyst says: If US stocks pull back 20%, could BTC fall toward $10,000? 😱 Do you buy it?

🐻 The bearish case
Mike McGlone believes BTC hitting $100,000 in 2025 and gold breaking above $5,000 in Q1 could signal the “endgame,” with surging government bond yields adding to the risk.

🛡️ The counterargument: Darkfost
Even if US stocks pull back 20%, there’s no historical precedent for BTC falling around 92% from its high. He called that target “highly unlikely.”

📊 Current environment
- CoinShares: Digital asset products saw net outflows of $434 million this week
- September CPI was up 3.7% year over year, above the 3.6% forecast; Polymarket puts the odds of a 25 bp rate hike at around 25%
- Fear & Greed Index: 55 (Greed)
- Meanwhile, Tom Lee says crypto and chip stocks have pulled back to support levels and are “poised to take off”

👉 My take: Extreme targets are mostly clickbait. What really matters is the Fed’s rate-hike outlook and risk appetite in US equities. As long as BTC remains correlated with the Nasdaq, macro is the main story. Don’t let sentiment on either side sway your positioning.

Which side are you on? A. $10,000 is fearmongering B. Macro risks are being underestimated. See you in the comments 👇
