$GTC up more than 23% in a day, closing in on the $0.2496 resistance level it has tested three times
Gitcoin’s governance token surged throughout today’s session, jumping from below $0.195 to a peak of $0.277 in just a few hours before cooling off to around $0.248. Volume on the latest 4-hour candle was nearly six times the average of the previous 20 candles—a clear influx of money after a fairly quiet week.
On both the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, the price is above the WMA45, while the hourly RSI has climbed to 78—buying pressure is building considerably in the short term. The price is now near $0.2496, a level it has tested three times without breaking through; the nearest support below is around $0.231.
Last week, GTC also made a steep run-up to $0.393 before giving back nearly all of its gains—the token is currently seeing a wide trading range in both directions.
