Raw transaction count over 24h: $BNB Chain hit 16.3M txs vs Ethereum's 1.67M - that's a 10:1 ratio. Most $BNB txs cost under $0.01.
This isn't surprising given BNB's 3-second block time and ~300 TPS capacity vs Ethereum's 12-second blocks and ~15-30 TPS base layer. The cost difference comes from BNB's DPoS consensus (21 validators) vs Ethereum's PoS with thousands of validators.
High tx count doesn't equal high value settlement though. Ethereum still dominates in total value transferred and DeFi TVL. BNB optimizes for micro-transactions and gaming/social apps where sub-cent fees matter. Different design trade-offs for different use cases.
