【An unusual on-chain signal: AVAX may be about to turn】

Trading volume has surged abnormally, exceeding 5% of its market cap. What does that mean? Let me explain.

Back in 2008, when I was in e-commerce, inventory deliveries to warehouses would start ramping up two weeks before every big sales event. Suppliers might not understand data analysis, but they knew how to watch how often trucks came and went. Volume moves first; prices move later. The crypto market is the same: unusual trading volume often shows up three to five days before unusual price movements.

AVAX is in a delicate position right now. Its 93% decline has basically squeezed out the bubble. A low valuation isn’t a reason to buy, but it does mean selling pressure may be close to drying up. The key question now is: Can Avalanche’s ecosystem story still hold up?

I’ve traded through four cycles, so I know this all too well. At the bottom, the scariest thing isn’t another drop—it’s being worn down by a long period of sideways trading. But rising volume means someone is making a move: either institutions are accumulating, or someone is rotating their holdings. Who’s buying and who’s selling at this level will determine the direction over the next few days.

Market sentiment is at 55, right on the boundary between greed and fear. BTC dominance at 59.3% shows that capital is still clustered around the top assets, so a second-tier leader like AVAX isn’t in a position to rally independently. In the short term, it will probably continue trading sideways.

From a business perspective, AVAX’s C-Chain and subnet concepts have real demand within the RWA narrative, but real-world adoption is far behind the hype. The ecosystem’s project survival rate is alarmingly low, and slogans won’t fix that. What would genuinely change my mind is seeing several heavyweight applications running on subnets—not just roadmaps in white papers.

My view: ➡️ Sideways, with a slight bullish bias. If 9.68 holds, there’s still a chance.

If you’re a short-term trader, keep an eye on trading volume and whether AVAX breaks through 10.72 this week. I’m not giving trading advice, but I think this range is worth watching.

What do you think? Can AVAX’s subnet ecosystem succeed, or will it keep making promises without delivering?
