Deep Tide TechFlow News, October 17: Crypto analyst Darkfost posted on X that Uniswap (UNI) surged about 370% from its June low at one point this year. Its total value locked (TVL) surpassed $4 billion in September, reaching a new high for the year, while DEX trading volume also peaked at $93.6 billion.

However, the token has fallen more than 30% since reaching a high of $10.9. With exchange inflows increasing, UNI is currently undergoing a distribution phase. In late September, UNI’s inflow Z-score exceeded 4 several times, with daily inflows topping $40 million. Although inflows remain active, momentum appears to be weakening. If inflows continue to decline, UNI may gradually form a bottom.

(Note: A Z-score, also called a standard score, indicates how many standard deviations a data point is from the average.)
