๐ธ๐ฆ๐พ๐ช Saudi is desperately trying to avoid getting trapped in another LONG-TERM war in Yemen...
Riyadh wants Yemeni government forces to regain territory, including the capital, Sanaa, while Saudi forces focus on destroying Houthi military infrastructure and protecting the kingdom from missile and drone attacks.

Saudi wants to weaken the Houthis without repeating the costly, years-long war it previously fought in Yemen, and that may be increasingly difficult to pull off.
