In LayerZero’s announcement of Aerie, two versions of the number of signatures aggregated in 0.65 seconds appeared: more than 32,000 and more than 320,000.

This isn’t a decimal-point issue. Both public statements mention 0.65 seconds, but the signature counts differ by a factor of ten. The materials provided so far don’t include the original test details, so the performance claims still need to be verified.

My view is that even if the higher figure is ultimately confirmed, it still doesn’t directly imply increased demand for ZRO. Some market commentary also says that ZRO and other altcoins have recently fallen at the same time, but that’s just one party’s observation and isn’t enough to conclude that Aerie has already been priced in by the market.

Next, we need to see the original test conditions, reproducible results, and whether this capability makes it into an actual product and generates usage. If the technical metrics deliver but there’s still no clear path to direct benefits for ZRO, how much of a premium should the market still assign it?
