According to reports, people familiar with the matter said SoftBank Group is considering acquiring U.S. security services provider Allied Universal. If the deal goes through, the company could be valued at around $18 billion. The report said SoftBank plans to gradually introduce robots after the acquisition to replace some security personnel, although deploying humanoid security robots could take longer.
