$XAU 4185My long position surged to 4205—why did I hold on so firmly?

Guys, the long position I opened at 4185 yesterday climbed to a high of 4205 last night. I had a decent unrealized profit, but I still didn’t close it. Some people asked why. It’s simple—I’m firmly bullish on it. Institutional investors and major players are broadly optimistic, and central banks have continued increasing their holdings for 23 consecutive months. What reason is there not to be bullish?

Looking at the market, the current price is 4171. Although the price has pulled back somewhat, the bears have clearly lacked the strength to push it lower, and support below is strong. My long position at 4185 is currently showing a small unrealized loss, but I’m still holding firm.

Anyone else bullish on gold?
