$UNITREE Don’t rush to short Unitree Robotics. The company makes humanoid robots, a promising sector with enormous potential. The news looks positive: shipments in the first half of 2026 are set to double, and full-year production capacity is expected to expand to as many as 30,000 units. Its STAR Market IPO has been massively oversubscribed by retail investors, with subscriptions exceeding 5,500 times the shares available. Institutions with ties to DeepSeek are also participating in the placement, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology predicts the sector is on the verge of a mass-production boom.

Now look at this lockup-expiration schedule: the pre-IPO major shareholders, who hold nearly 90% of the shares, won’t be able to sell until August 2027. Just over 7% of the shares are currently in circulation, so the float is extremely scarce. With fundamentals gaining momentum and no near-term selling pressure, it would take only a little buying from major players to crush the shorts. Shorting against the trend now would be like handing over money. The outlook is firmly bullish.
