#nil $NIL @Nillion The biggest privacy vulnerability in on-chain transactions has never been the transfer amount—it’s that your intent is exposed before it’s even triggered. Stop-losses get hunted, strategies get front-run; it all comes down to this.

Nillion’s Covenants are solving this problem. They’re encrypted conditional instructions: you seal an instruction like “execute X if ETH falls below a certain price” on-chain, and until the condition is met, no other traders, searchers, or even nodes can read its contents. When the condition is triggered, Blacklight L1 nodes cooperate to release it using a threshold mechanism, so no single operator gets to decide when it’s unlocked.‌‌

Dusk, the first milestone in a seven-stage roadmap, has already brought Covenants to Ethereum mainnet. I’m most looking forward to the next stage, Darkfall—which will extend the same encrypted execution capabilities to multiple EVM chains, so private strategies are no longer confined to the liquidity of a single chain.‌
