Musk: You have to be optimistic about the future. Pessimism serves no purpose; it only brings you more negative energy. I’d rather choose optimism, even if it’s wrong. I don’t want to be pessimistic, even if it’s right.
At least be on the optimistic side. If you’re pessimistic, you’ll be miserable. Even if human civilization continues to exist, from a much longer-term perspective, the universe will ultimately end in heat death.
