If you don’t claim it, it’s as good as giving it away: starting today, $APM will have to “claim its salary” every month.
The first claim window for apM Fashion’s (a South Korean Dongdaemun fashion wholesale project) token migration officially opens today (October 17), and the rules are quite unusual:
1. Old tokens for new: The snapshot captured a total of 799.1 million old ERC-20 tokens, which will be exchanged at a 1:2 ratio for approximately 1.598 billion new BEP-20 tokens. The old contract will be permanently shut down.
2. Claims in installments: Starting today, you can claim only 1/36 of your total allocation each month, for 36 months in all.
3. The toughest rule: Any portion left unclaimed that month will be burned—no rollover and no make-up claims. Miss it, and it’s gone forever.
My take: This design turns a one-off “airdrop dump” into a steady release over 36 months, which should cushion short-term circulating supply by spreading out the selling pressure. But it also puts all the responsibility on token holders: for the next three years, you’ll need to remember to claim every month. Miss one month and you’ll have burned some of your tokens yourself. Whether the project can build momentum will depend on on-chain activity in the coming claim periods. $APM first launched on Binance Alpha on September 17 (APM/USDT, $BNB Smart Chain). As a new face in the Binance ecosystem, whether this migration can build momentum will depend on on-chain activity in the coming claim periods.

What do you think of this “claim it or it gets burned” design—is it a clever way to prevent dumping, or just a hassle?
