How do you look up a transaction using a block explorer?
The confirmation count generally indicates how many blocks have been added to the chain after a transaction was included. The higher the number, the less likely the transaction is to be reversed.
Search for the transaction hash in a block explorer to see the transaction status, sender, recipient, amount, fee, and block number.
One thing to keep in mind when managing funds: bookmark the block explorers you use regularly, and don't access them through search ads—fake block explorers exist too.
