Bitcoin ETFs attracted over $1 billion in net inflows in one week, as institutional funds are once again influencing market pricing.
According to relevant data, spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of over $1 billion last week, with BlackRock’s IBIT attracting approximately $480 million. ETFs offer traditional investors a regulated way to gain exposure to BTC, and sustained inflows could provide buying support for the market.
However, it’s important to note that inflows don’t guarantee a price increase. Whether the rally can continue ultimately depends on whether institutional buying is sustained, as well as changes in macro interest rates, the U.S. dollar’s trajectory, and selling pressure in the market.
As for this year’s target range of $80,000 to $100,000, I think it’s worth keeping an eye on, but ETF inflows alone aren’t enough to conclude that it will definitely be reached. Rather than focusing on short-term fund-flow data, it’s more important to watch whether consecutive net inflows can drive BTC to break through resistance decisively and hold above it.
In your view, will the next Bitcoin rally be driven mainly by institutional funds, or by improving macro conditions that boost risk appetite?$BTC
