UniSat has clarified its plans for USDT.
First, it will integrate USDT into the UniSat wallet and UniScan with Utexo, then add it to UniHexa, so Bitcoin-native assets can be traded directly with USDT.
I support this direction. The Bitcoin ecosystem doesn't lack tokens; it lacks liquidity that people are used to using. In the future, when buying and selling assets like BRC-20 and Runes, users won't have to keep moving funds to other chains or exchanges, which will make things much easier for retail traders.
It's still in development. This will only be a success once the wallet experience, exchange deposits and withdrawals, and UniHexa's real liquidity are up and running.
