UniSat has finally made the road ahead clear.
First, it’ll work with Utexo to bring USDT into the UniSat wallet and UniScan, then add it to UniHexa so Bitcoin-native assets can be traded directly with USDT. After that, it plans to expand into areas like payments and gaming.
I’m pretty bullish on this direction.
The Bitcoin ecosystem has never lacked coins; what it lacks is money that everyone is willing to use. When the market is down, retail investors who want to sell their coins and sit tight still have to transfer them to an exchange or move them to another chain. It’s a hassle.
If people can eventually send and receive USDT directly in the UniSat wallet, and use USDT to buy and sell assets like BRC-20s and Runes on UniHexa, funds won’t have to keep moving back and forth. That should help both trading volume and liquidity.
But for now, it’s still just a roadmap. It only counts as a success once the wallet works smoothly, the exchange supports deposits and withdrawals, and there’s real money in UniHexa’s order books.
The direction is damn impressive. Now it’s all about how quickly they can deliver.
