【$SUI】Sui looks like it’s become a stablecoin landlord
The supply of Sui’s own stablecoin, USDsui, just hit a new high of $80 million. Issued by Stripe subsidiary Bridge, it’s backed 1:1 by U.S. Treasuries and has grown 20.5% in 90 days.
The wildest part: interest from the reserves is being used to buy back SUI. About 830,000 tokens have already been bought back, worth roughly $646,000. The community put it this way: “The landlord uses the rent to buy more property.” I was speechless—I pay rent and all I get is a receipt.
They also demoed 40 million transactions per second on Basecamp. The chain runs way faster than I work.
Not financial advice. I’m just jealous of anyone who collects rent.
