Let me share a habit I have when buying crypto: I check the token unlock calendar first. For example, $NOM has an unlock scheduled for October 17 (today), equal to 20.6% of its circulating supply, or about $1.18 million.
When the percentage is that high, I usually hold back a bit and wait to see how the market absorbs the unlock.
