Former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès warned that Ledger had received multiple reports since December 2025 of hardware wallets being tampered with and fitted with malicious components, but had yet to issue a public warning. On March 4, 2026, security researcher Joe Grand bought a tampered Nano X through Thailand’s Lazada and reported it to Ledger, which acknowledged the report and said it was investigating internally. On October 9, a security incident involving devices sold by CryptoBilis, an authorized distributor in Southeast Asia, was disclosed. Karpelès urged Ledger to strengthen its user warnings, as similar reports were increasing and attack methods were becoming more sophisticated. #安全警告 #Ledger #Hardware Wallet
