📒 A series of conversations about trading:
🖋 Lesson: 37 — Chasing Price
👼 Angel: What does chasing price mean?
🦅 Falcon: It means entering a trade after a sharp price move out of fear of missing an opportunity, often without waiting for a suitable entry point or a confirmed signal.
👼 Angel: Why do traders make this mistake?
🦅 Falcon: Because of the fear of missing out (FOMO) and the desire for quick profits. They end up buying near peaks or selling after a sharp drop.
👼 Angel: How can I avoid chasing price?
🦅 Falcon: Stick to your trading plan and identify your entry zones in advance. If you miss an opportunity, don’t enter the trade—the market will offer you other opportunities.
■Lesson:
🔥 Not every price move is an opportunity worth taking. Sometimes the best decision is to wait, and protecting your capital is more important than chasing a profit you might miss.
■Dedication:
🦅💌 To my angel, who taught me that some opportunities aren’t worth chasing, and that what is meant for us won’t require us to pursue it anxiously.
