Cardano has 42.6 million ADA remaining under its current treasury withdrawal allowance, despite holding about 1.38 billion ADA in its treasury. According to NS3.AI, as of Oct. 16, 2026, 30 enacted withdrawals totaled 457,395,629 ADA against a 500 million ADA ceiling.

An unenacted request for 22 million ADA from the copper reserve would leave 20,604,371 ADA available if approved before any other withdrawals and the limit remains unchanged. Incoming funds and returned grants do not restore withdrawal authority because the limit is based on gross withdrawals. Previously funded programs can continue spending their existing allocations, and governance can agree to another limit.
