Let's talk about Nillion, reluctantly.

I've watched too many privacy projects promise the future and deliver a whitepaper. Most of them died quietly. So when a traditional finance institution turns up using the chain for an actual production workflow, I don't cheer. I lean in, slowly, with my arms crossed.

Press releases are free. A partnership announcement costs a logo and a quote. A production workflow costs compliance sign-off, legal review, and someone's job if it breaks. When companies this size arrive with a specific use case instead of a headline, the signal is categorically different.

The part I find genuinely useful is on-chain compliance without exposure. Think of an airport security check where you prove you're safe without dumping your whole bag on the conveyor belt for everyone to see. The authority gets the verification it needs. Everyone else sees nothing.

Still, one workflow isn't adoption. Pilots stall, and institutions move slower than any bull market has patience for. $NIL could easily be priced for a future that arrives late.

But I can't shake the feeling that this one is different, and I don't know whether that's insight or just fatigue talking.
