Weekend BTC: the easiest way to lose is to get "itchy fingers" 🧠
U.S. stocks had a Black Friday on Friday: the Nasdaq fell as much as 2.36%, and MSTR dropped nearly 10% (BlockBeats), but $BTC is still holding around $81,000 (CoinGecko: about $81,541, 24h -0.95%). The Fear & Greed Index is at 63, still in greed territory.
Three weekend rules of thumb 👇
1️⃣ Thin liquidity: Weekend trading volume is low, so a single large order can cause a wick. Don’t set your stop-loss too tight.
2️⃣ Cut your position in half: The news (new MSCI rules, a pullback in U.S. stocks) hasn’t played out yet, so weekends aren’t ideal for taking big bets on direction.
3️⃣ Don’t chase the wick: Wait 30 minutes after a wick before checking again. Most of the time, it’s emotion, not a trend.
