The U.S. defense company Anduril is exploring the possibility of manufacturing its new Steelfin interceptor missiles in Europe, a company official said Monday.

Brian Moran, Anduril’s vice president for Europe, said the company hopes to make Steelfin a capability available to both Polish customers and industry, adding that Anduril will consider involving European partners and customers in the effort.

Flight tests of the Steelfin interceptor are scheduled to begin in 2027. Anduril is presenting the weapon as a more affordable option that can operate alongside existing missile defense systems, such as the Patriot system.
