Just jotting this down: seeing “NEAR Intents Reveals Details of $3.8 Million Attack: Contract Vulnerability Led to Fake Deposits, All Funds Have Been Recovered” reminded me of how I used to be.
Back then, whenever I saw news, I wanted to make a trade. More than once, I chased the price halfway up and sold near the bottom.
These days, my habit is to read the whole story first, then wait for the money to show its hand, and only then decide whether to make a move. $NEAR was no different.
At the end of the day, what I fear most isn’t getting the direction wrong—it’s letting a single news story dictate my position.
Has anyone else been through the same thing?
