What’s the relationship between a private key, a public key, and an address?
A public key is derived from a private key through elliptic-curve operations. This process is one-way, making it computationally infeasible to work backward from a public key to the private key.
Think of an address as an account for receiving funds. Your private key is the only credential that lets you access those funds: you can share your account details with anyone, but your private key should be known only to you.
