Altcoins are just a lever—a first springboard for rising in the crypto world. Their appeal goes without saying. Don’t say you never trade altcoins: if you do it on the sly, no one will know unless you tell them. People who never touch altcoins are most likely big-money players, and they have no need to trade them. Those who do trade altcoins are either desperate to turn things around or eager to make money fast.
After so many big-money players have gone under, they ask me how they can turn things around. If I had a secret formula for bouncing back, would I still be livestreaming every day? I don’t have one. There are so many people in crypto who make money consistently; I’m a bit outclassed and feel inferior. Plenty of people can profit from both long and short positions, but unfortunately, I’m not one of them.
The day before yesterday, it went from @熹熹发大财 500 dollars down to 37000 dollars in just a day or two. Once your capital has grown, if you’re still fixated on altcoins, you’ll fall right back to where you started. I don’t know how else to put it.
If you’ve made 30,000 dollars trading small-cap altcoins, you must switch to large-cap altcoins or Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you don’t adjust your strategy, you’ll definitely go under eventually.
When trading altcoins, focus on volume, price action, and liquidity. Those are the two key things. You can ignore other technical indicators and moving averages. If an altcoin is making a new high, just focus on whether its volume and price action are holding up; the other indicators are useless for altcoins.
Put another way, if Ethereum breaks above 5,000 dollars and Bitcoin breaks its all-time high, where’s the next resistance level? Where is the resistance? Are any indicators still useful? I don’t know.
Technical analysis and indicators work for Bitcoin because it hasn’t made a new high or gone through a rapid pump. You can still refer to historical symmetrical levels and consolidation zones. It’s easy to understand: when price moves up from a consolidation zone, that zone becomes support; when it moves down, the zone becomes resistance. And of course, there are also round-number levels.
Here’s a bold claim: for any large-cap coin or financial product, there’s a universal formula that works for all of them.
If Bitcoin breaks 100,000, the next level is 125,000.
If Micron breaks 1,000, the next level is 1,250.
If ZEC breaks 1,000, the next level is 1,250.
If SUI breaks 1, the next level is 1.25.
There are livestream replays of all these calls, so you can find the records. But sure, just take it as me bragging.
If HYPE breaks 100, the next level is 125, with a margin of error of no more than 5% either way. I’ve used this method so many times—just watch and see for yourselves.
If SOL breaks 100 in this rebound, will 125 be next? And what about AVAX, FIL, DOT, and so on? Of course, the one exception is DOGE, which didn’t move that way.
