MSTR price target raised to $208

Cantor Fitzgerald raised its price target for MSTR from $186 to $208, and its 12-month Bitcoin forecast from $98,000 to $112,000. Holdings data was updated as well: 848,000 BTC, with the company valuation adjusted from $97 billion to $110 billion.

Investment bank forecast revisions won’t affect short-term price action; the real variable is the pressure to realize gains on the 848,000 BTC holdings. Every move BTC makes above $110,000 will meet attempts to sell from MSTR’s low-cost holdings. In the short term, expect a spike followed by a pullback, then consolidation and accumulation on a retest of the $102,000–$105,000 range. A genuine high-volume breakout will have to wait until these holdings have changed hands. Until the MSCI index adjustment is finalized, market makers won’t actively push prices higher.

At this level, are you going long based on the investment bank’s outlook, or waiting for a pullback to $102,000 to place your bids?
