Algorand’s story has more twists than an American TV drama.

At the end of September, a quantum-resistant upgrade plus a new CEO (William Herkelrath, formerly of Chainlink) brought a double dose of good news. $ALGO surged 72% in six weeks, hitting 0.133, and everyone across crypto was calling it a comeback for a veteran public blockchain.

But then what? Former CEO Staci Warden left in August, CTO Bruno Martins resigned on October 9, and Chief Marketing Officer Marc Vanlerberghe left on October 14—three key people gone within a month and a half. When the news broke, $ALGO plunged 8.6% in a day, falling back to around 0.11.

Is this a fresh start through new blood, or rats fleeing a sinking ship? Pick a side in the comments: A: The new CEO can bring institutions on board—now’s the time to buy the dip; B: Executives jumping ship speak louder than the charts—better get out first.
