Quick explainer: UTXO and account models
Bitcoin uses the UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) model: each transaction spends some existing outputs and creates new ones.
For Ethereum external accounts, the nonce increases by 1 with each transaction. Transactions must be executed in nonce order, and each nonce can only be used once.
Repeatedly receiving funds at the same Bitcoin address can make your transaction history easy to trace, so many wallets automatically generate a new address for each incoming payment and change output.
$BTC uses the UTXO model. The balance shown in the wallet is actually the sum of many unspent outputs.
